Daylight Shooting in Pune’s Bibwewadi Leaves One Seriously Injured, Police Launch Manhunt

A shocking shooting incident in Pune’s Bibwewadi area has sparked concerns over rising crime rates in the city. The attack took place in broad daylight around 1:30 PM on Monday at Samvidhan Chowk, leaving residents alarmed about public safety.

According to police reports, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on Pawan Subhash Gawali, a local resident. He sustained a gunshot wound to his lower back and was immediately rushed to Sassoon General Hospital for urgent medical care.

Authorities have launched an investigation and confirmed that they have identified the suspects involved. A city-wide search operation is currently underway to apprehend them. However, officials have yet to determine the exact motive behind the attack.
