Delhi Apartment Horror: Woman’s Body Found Hidden in Bed Box
A shocking crime has come to light in Delhi’s Vivek Vihar, where a woman’s body was discovered inside a flat, concealed in a bag and wrapped in a blanket. The unsettling discovery was made when neighbors reported a strong, foul odor coming from the apartment. Upon investigation, authorities found the body inside a bed box, with an incense stick placed on top, seemingly in an attempt to mask the smell.
The flat belongs to Vivekanand Mishra, a man in his 50s or 60s, who has since been detained for questioning. The deceased, believed to be between 30 and 50 years old, had been living in the apartment with her husband. Initial reports suggest she had been dead for approximately three days before being found.
Police received a call at 4:37 PM regarding the suspicious smell emanating from house number 118 A in Satyam Enclave, Jhilmil Colony. When officers arrived, they found the house locked from the outside and noticed traces of blood near the back door. Upon entering, they discovered the body hidden inside the bed box. The forensic team has collected evidence, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
In another chillingly similar case, a 36-year-old tech professional in Bengaluru took the life of his wife following a heated argument about her job. Overcome with rage, he fatally stabbed her in the neck multiple times before placing her body inside a suitcase. After locking the house, he set off towards Pune but soon contacted his landlord to confess. Police apprehended him just moments before he was about to surrender, revealing that he had spent the night talking to his wife’s lifeless body and had even attempted suicide by consuming phenyl.
These harrowing incidents serve as grim reminders of the darkness that can lurk behind closed doors. Authorities continue their investigations to ensure justice is served in both cases.
