Hyderabad Man Arrested for Selling Newborn Daughter

In a shocking incident in Telangana, a man named Asif was arrested for allegedly selling his newborn daughter for Rs 1 lakh. Hyderabad police detained three individuals, including Asif, in connection with the case.

The incident came to light when the child's mother, Asma Begum, lodged a complaint with the police. Authorities quickly formed a special team to locate the infant, successfully rescuing the 18-day-old girl within 24 hours. The baby has since been reunited with her mother in Bandlaguda.

According to the Hyderabad Police, Asif had threatened Asma with severe consequences before selling the baby to acquaintances. Alongside Asif, a mediator named Sultana and another individual who purchased the child were also taken into custody for further investigation.
