Ertiga Car Overturns Due to Brake Failure on Kaladhungi Road, Eight Injured
A major road accident occurred late Wednesday evening near the Nalkani village, within the Mangoli Police Checkpoint area, on the Haldwani-Kaladhungi road. An Ertiga car, heading towards Delhi, suddenly overturned due to a brake failure, trapping eight people inside. Immediately after the incident, local residents and a patrolling police team arrived at the scene and rescued the victims. All the injured were taken to Kaladhungi Hospital for primary treatment, where their condition is now reported to be out of danger.
Accident Caused by Brake Failure
The incident occurred when the Ertiga car was traveling from Nainital towards Kaladhungi. The car suddenly lost its brakes, causing it to lose control and overturn on the road. All eight passengers in the vehicle were trapped inside. Upon receiving the distress call, Mangoli Police Station Incharge Bhupendra Mehta, along with his team, reached the spot and immediately began the rescue operation.
Quick Rescue Operation with Help from Locals
Local residents played a crucial role in the rescue efforts. All the injured were swiftly transported to the hospital in private vehicles, which helped save their lives.
