Get Ready for a Slight Detour: Key Traffic Changes on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Motorists traveling on the iconic Mumbai-Pune Expressway can expect a slight detour in the coming days. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced a temporary traffic diversion to facilitate the installation of girders for a new bridge at Km 58/500 (Dongargaon/Kusgaon).

Here's What You Need to Know:

Diversion Dates:
The diversion will be in effect for three days:
January 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.

Impact:
Traffic traveling from Mumbai towards Pune will be diverted onto an alternate route.

Alternate Route:
Vehicles will be rerouted from Km 54/700 (Vallwan) to the Varsoli Toll Naka (National Highway 48) and then proceed towards Pune via the Dehuroad route.

Mumbai-Bound Traffic:
The Mumbai-bound lane of the expressway will be open to traffic after 3:00 PM on each of these days.

Pune to Mumbai Traffic:
Drivers traveling from Pune to Mumbai will experience no disruptions.
