Hyderabad Realtor Murdered by Son Over Property Dispute
Son Feared Property Transfer to Father's Third Wife
Hyderabad realtor Kammari Krishna was murdered by his son, who feared that his father would transfer his property to his third wife. The son allegedly hired contract killers, including Krishna's own bodyguard, to carry out the murder.
Telangana Police arrested Krishna's son, who had reportedly paid Rs 25 lakh to the killers. The gruesome incident occurred on July 10 at Krishna's farmhouse in Kammadanam village, Shadnagar, Rangareddy district.
According to Shamshabad DCP Rajesh, Krishna's son, born to his first wife, orchestrated the murder out of concern that his father would leave the entire Rs 16 crore property to his third wife, Pavani, who has a 16-month-old daughter. Krishna had neglected his first family after marrying twice more.
The son approached Baba Sivanand, Krishna's bodyguard, and offered him Rs 25 lakh for the murder. Baba, along with Jeelakarra Ganesh and a minor boy, attacked Krishna at his farmhouse. They restrained him and inflicted fatal wounds before fleeing. Krishna's third wife rushed him to a hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival.
Following a complaint by Pavani, police launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the accused. The police seized two cars, a two-wheeler, three knives, and a cell phone during the arrests.
Krishna's assets are valued at over Rs 100 crore. The complex family dynamics and property disputes culminated in this tragic event.
