Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission paper leak
Due to the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak controversy, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed for strict action just after the disclosure of irregularities in the recruitment of various examinations of the Subordinate Commission therefore, Uttarakhand government on Sunday removed the secretary of the commission.
The UKSSSC conducted an examination for 854 posts for 13 categories of different departments, on 4th & 5th December 2021 which was the biggest examination of the commission.
Uttarakhand Police has arrested State District Panchayat member Hakam Singh and 18 more individuals in connection with the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case. Prior to this, Uttarakhand Police arrested Gaurav Chauhan, Additional Private Secretary working in Public Works and Forest Department of state Secretariat in connection with the UKSSSC paper leak case.
As per Uttarakhand Police, "State District Panchayat member Hakam Singh has been arrested in the graduate level exam question paper leak case conducted by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. This is the 18th arrest in the case."
Earlier, Uttarakhand Police arrested Gaurav Chauhan, Additional Private Secretary working in Public Works and Forest Department of state Secretariat in connection with the UK SSSC paper leak case.
In the month of July 2022, a case was registered in connection with a paper leak at Raipur Police Station. According to the sources, this case is being investigated by the Special Task Force (STF).
