Stabbing Spree in Indiranagar: Bengaluru Police Identify Suspect, Arrest Expected Soon
Bengaluru’s upscale Indiranagar witnessed a shocking series of knife attacks, leaving residents alarmed. Authorities have now identified the suspect behind the violence and are closing in on his arrest.
Suspect Identified as Repeat Offender
The accused, identified as 26-year-old Kadamba, is a known rowdy sheeter with multiple prior offenses, including mobile theft and assault. Despite being arrested six times before, he was recently out on bail after signing a good behavior bond with the Bengaluru East Division police.
Surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts helped law enforcement confirm his involvement in the four attacks that occurred in the area. Officials have assured residents that there is no cause for widespread panic, as the crimes were carried out by an intoxicated individual rather than a serial offender.
Police Deploy Special Teams for Arrest
To expedite the arrest, authorities have assembled four special teams to track Kadamba’s whereabouts. A senior officer revealed that the suspect, a resident of Jogupalya, had been under police watch since last year when a rowdy sheet was officially opened against him.
“Kadamba has a history of getting into petty quarrels and causing disturbances. However, this time, he escalated to violent knife attacks. While the victims have sustained serious injuries, they are currently out of danger,” the official stated.
Law enforcement remains vigilant, assuring the public that the suspect will be apprehended soon and appropriate legal action will follow.
