Starting April 17, Akasa Air, a Mumbai-based low-cost airline, is set to expand its flight services by launching daily flights connecting Bhubaneswar with Bengaluru and Pune. This move marks a significant step for Akasa Air as it continues to broaden its reach across key cities in India, offering travelers more affordable and convenient flight options.

According to the official flight schedule, Akasa Air's flight QP1381 will take off from Bengaluru at 5:40 AM and land in Bhubaneswar at 7:50 AM, providing an early morning option for passengers traveling between these two cities. Following that, flight QP1382 will depart from Bhubaneswar at 8:40 AM, arriving in Pune at 10:50 AM, further strengthening connectivity between Bhubaneswar and major cities in western India.

In the afternoon, flight QP1383 will depart from Pune at 11:25 AM and touch down in Bhubaneswar at 1:30 PM, allowing for quick return trips for business and leisure travelers. Finally, flight QP1384 will depart from Bhubaneswar at 2:05 PM, landing in Bengaluru at 4:20 PM, ensuring a convenient round-trip service between the two cities. These flights are expected to cater to a wide range of passengers, including business professionals, tourists, and students, offering seamless travel across three major cities.

Akasa Air, one of India’s newest airlines, has quickly gained attention since receiving its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) last year, which authorized the commencement of its commercial operations. Since then, the airline has focused on providing budget-friendly fares and reliable service, making it an appealing choice for domestic travelers.

The introduction of these daily flight services between Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, and Pune underscores Akasa Air’s commitment to expanding its network and enhancing air travel accessibility in India. As Bhubaneswar continues to emerge as an important hub for tourism, education, and industry, this new connection with Bengaluru, a leading tech and business city, and Pune, known for its educational institutions and cultural heritage, will likely benefit passengers looking for convenient and affordable travel options.

Akasa Air’s strategic move into these routes is part of the airline's broader plan to offer increased connectivity to underserved routes, enhancing its competitive presence in India's aviation market. Travelers can now look forward to more flight options that cater to both business and leisure needs, with Akasa Air positioning itself as a key player in the low-cost carrier segment.

With its modern fleet and customer-focused approach, Akasa Air aims to build a strong reputation in India’s domestic aviation sector, ensuring that passengers enjoy a smooth, affordable, and comfortable flying experience. The airline’s expansion also aligns with the increasing demand for domestic air travel, as more passengers seek quick and efficient transport between India’s growing cities. As Akasa Air continues to grow, these new routes from Bhubaneswar to Bengaluru and Pune are set to become vital links in its ever-expanding network.
