Bengaluru Tragedy: Man Kills Wife and Her Alleged Lover Before Taking His Own Life

In a shocking turn of events, a 41-year-old man in Bengaluru took the lives of his wife and her alleged lover before dying by suicide. The incident, which has left the local community stunned, unfolded between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning at an under-construction building near Brigade Gardenia apartment in the Konanakunte area.

According to the Bengaluru police, the accused, identified as Pulusu Golla, brutally attacked his 33-year-old wife, Pulusu Lakshmi, and her suspected lover, Ganesh Kumar. Using a wooden log, Golla fatally struck both individuals on their heads, killing them instantly. Following this violent confrontation, Golla reportedly ended his own life by hanging himself around 4 AM on Thursday.

All three individuals were construction workers originally from Andhra Pradesh, and they lived at the site of the under-construction building where they were employed. The tragic sequence of events has raised many questions, and the police are currently investigating the case to uncover more details about what led to this horrifying act.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Lokesh B Jagalasar, provided some insight into the potential motive behind the crime. He noted that Golla may have been driven by suspicion that his wife was involved in an extramarital affair with Ganesh Kumar. The deputy commissioner revealed that after committing the murders, Golla called his sister-in-law to confess what he had done. He also expressed his intention to end his own life during the phone call.

While the exact details of the confrontation remain unclear, investigators suspect that Golla confronted his wife and her alleged lover, which escalated into a fatal altercation. The police are now focused on gathering eyewitness testimonies and reviewing any available technical evidence to further understand the circumstances leading to the crime.

The case has sparked widespread concern about the devastating effects of domestic disputes, particularly when fueled by suspicions of infidelity. Cases like this highlight the extreme consequences that can arise when emotions and suspicions spiral out of control. The tragic outcome has once again underscored the importance of addressing relationship issues with open communication and seeking help through counseling and mediation when conflicts arise.

Family and community members are left grappling with the aftermath of the tragedy, questioning whether more could have been done to prevent such a horrific incident. Domestic violence and relationship-related violence continue to be significant issues in society, with many cases going unreported until it’s too late.

In light of this incident, authorities are urging individuals experiencing domestic strife or relationship problems to seek help from professionals and support networks rather than resorting to violence. Bengaluru, like many urban areas, has several resources available for those dealing with emotional and relationship stress, including counseling services and helplines aimed at preventing domestic violence and providing mental health support.

The Konanakunte police have registered a formal case and are actively pursuing the investigation to uncover more details about the incident. As authorities collect more evidence and eyewitness accounts, the true nature of the events that led to this tragic loss of life may come to light.
